These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and NUS, located at Bernhard Bangs Allé 24, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of our website www.nus.dk and related services (collectively, the “Services”).Please read these Terms carefully. By using our Services or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.

1. Our Services
NUS offers sustainable bedding products designed in Denmark. The Services are intended for users in jurisdictions where such access is lawful. Users accessing from other regions are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

2. General Purchase Terms
These Terms apply to all purchases made via www.nus.dk. By placing an order, you confirm you have read and accepted these conditions, including our pre-order, delivery, and refund terms.

3. Personalized Products – No Right of Withdrawal
All NUS products are under applicable EU consumer protection laws, you do not have a right of withdrawal or cancellation once an order has been placed and confirmed. Production begins specifically for your order.

4. Pre-Orders, Payment, and Charges
We operate on a batch pre-order model:

You authorize payment at checkout
You will be notified by email before your card is charged and when production begins.

We accept major payment methods, including Visa and Mastercard. Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

5. Production and Delivery
Production begins after pre-orders are received and payments are processed.

Orders will be shipped within 6 weeks of production start. This is subject to production availability.
You will receive a dispatch confirmation via email when your product is shipped.

International Customers:
You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges in your country. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon shipment, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Returns, Refunds & Defective Goods
All items are custom-made and non-refundable, except in the case of damaged or defective items, as required by EU law.If your product is faulty or damaged:

Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
If confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund, including shipping where applicable.

7. Product Care Instructions
Our bed linen is delicate and should be treated like silk:
- Wash gently at 30°C or below
- Do not bleach or tumble dry
- Handle with care to preserve embroidery and personalization

Failure to follow these instructions may void eligibility for replacement of defective goods.

8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our Services (including images, logos, trademarks, and text) is owned or licensed by NUS and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any copying or redistribution is prohibited without prior written consent.

9. User Representations
By using our Services, you confirm that:

You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
You will comply with all local laws;
Any data you submit is accurate and up-to-date.

10. Prohibited Activities
You may not use our Services to:

Break any laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Transmit viruses or malicious software
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or customer data
Harass or harm other users

11. User-Generated Content
Any content (e.g. feedback or ideas) you submit to NUS becomes our property. You waive any claims to compensation and confirm that you have the right to share it.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NUS shall not be liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Delays in delivery due to third parties or force majeure
Allergic reactions or misuse due to improper care

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
